Sorry to bring up three words that I can’t stand any more... Sonny, Bill and Williams - but does it not make you feel sick to see this bloke holding up a Toulon rugby union jersey with a sheepish grin?
No doubt brain washing the French as he did to so many out here that he’s a decent, upstanding young man.
Please.
While lawyers were in court yesterday, this bloke continues to spit in the face of those who have supporters him for so long - and the fans that even as recently as last weekend were taking banners to the game against the Tigers, begging him to come back.
Yet still no comment from this imbecile.
No apology. No explanation. What do you expect, I suppose, from someone who committed such a cowardly act?
And is it any wonder when you consider his manager Khoder Nassar is over there advising him?
Another bloke lacking any sort of courage - who won’t stand up and admit he’s representing Sonny Dill. Or to accept the serving of a summons.
What a great example.
But we can all relax because Nasser was last seen in talks with his mate... his little lap dog... Channel Nine’s Anthony Mundine suck up, Dan Weedler.
He’s over there.
Maybe Toulon is a good place for all of these people to stay... forever.
Back home, the Bulldogs (remember them, Sonny Bill or Khoder?... you know, the club you lied to so blatantly?) are at least considering a relocation to Gosford.
CEO Todd Greenberg admits they haven’t actually discussed the possibility at a board level... but it is something individuals have been talking about - including the $8 million-plus on offer from the NRL to any team which moves to the Central Coast.
And in many ways it would make sense. The Bulldogs are without a home as it is. Maybe starting again wouldn’t be such a bad idea, provided they became the Central Coast Bulldogs.
I would think it’s still a long way off, and my Doggies fans will be up in arms at the idea - but financially, it makes a lot of sense doesn’t it?
